Video Clip Inspecting & Preview

Working with video is an Orbit Pro feature.

Before a clip goes on the timeline you can preview it and choose exactly which part to use, straight from the clip bin.

Inspecting a clip

Expand a clip in the bin to open the video clip inspector. Here you can preview the footage, scrub through its frames, and mark a region — the portion of the clip you want to use.

Once you've found the part you want, drag the whole clip or your marked region onto the video lane — see Video Timeline.

Preview in the main window

You can also view a clip in place of the main video by clicking the View in Main Window button.
